Active kinesitherapy is all types of movement therapy in which the patient actively performs the movement.
- According to the type and nature of physical exercise;
- According to the anatomical sign - for certain muscle groups and joints;
- According to the form - structural, for attention, preparatory, basic, final, supports, crawling, jumping, throwing, etc.;
- According to activity;
- According to the use of equipment and tools;
- According to the use of sports and elements of sports;
- According to the use of games and elements of them;
- According to their physiological impact;
- Isotonic, isometric, mixed;
- Cyclic and acyclic;
- For strength, for endurance, for speed;
- According to the degree of effort - maximum, moderate, little effort;
- According to their healing action;
- On the respiratory system;
- On the musculoskeletal system;
- On the cardiovascular system;
- On the nervous system;
- On the internal organs and abdominal wall;
- General strengthening gymnastics;
- Underwater gymnastics.
Passive kinesiotherapy – where the movements are performed by the therapist or with their help.
*Mechanotherapy – Passive exercises that are performed mechanically.
*Massage: A passive kinesiotherapeutic technique of applying metered mechanical stimuli to a body area, using selected techniques by a massage therapist and/or special equipment.
Therapeutic action on the skin:
- It becomes more resistant, increases turgor and elasticity;
- Warms up;
- The metabolic processes in the skin and the body are improved;
- Fat deposits are reduced, etc.
Healing effect on the circulatory system:
- Activates capillaries;
- Mechanically decongests the peripheral venous system;
- Reduces congestive phenomena;
- Decongests the lymphatic system and directs the lymphatic current;
- Relaxes striated musculature;
Overall improves the condition of joints, muscles, nervous system and metabolic processes throughout the body.
Therapeutic massage – a methodology of kinesitherapy. In it we apply uniform mechanical irritations in order to restore the patient. The strokes are specially selected according to the needs of the patient. Therapeutic massage can be done on the whole body or on the required area (according to the disease). The therapeutic massage can be reflexive or segmental.
- Partial back massage;
- Full body massage;
- Reflexology - Application of metered mechanical stimuli to reflex pathological changes in tissues on the body surface;
- Sympathetic - In this massage a system of reflex massage techniques is built up. All pathological findings on the skin are treated, the aim being to interrupt all manifestations from the superficial tissues to the internal organs;
- Lymphatic Drainage (with device)- It is a massage technique that stimulates the active circulation of lymph in the body, enhancing metabolism and elimination of toxins from the body. It reduces edema all over the body, especially well affects orthostatic peripheral edema. It is believed to reduce inflammation and positively affect chronic inflammatory diseases such as arthritis. Fully healthy people can also undergo lymphatic drainage. The procedure reduces overall pain perception and boosts the immune system, improving the appearance of the skin. Lymph is one of the most important fluids in the human body, it performs many functions: metabolic, protective, immune and others.
Healing action and health benefits:
- Removal of excess fluid and toxins from the body;
- Improving blood and lymph circulation;
- Normalizing the functioning of all internal organs and systems;
- Reducing body weight;
- Improvement of metabolic processes;
- Stimulate the immune system;
- Strengthening the venous walls;
- Delay premature aging;
- Smoothing small wrinkles;
- Tightening of the skin, smoothing cellulite and stretch marks;
- Antidepressant action;
- The turgor of the skin is also improved, which becomes more elastic.
With regular pressotherapy throughout the year at the recommended frequency of repetition, the complications of this disease are significantly reduced and the general feeling of comfort and condition is improved. It is imperative to combine the procedure with an adequate daily intake of water (2 litres per day is recommended) to balance the volumes of fluid removed from the body.
The recommended number of visits for lymphatic drainage is between 4-6 times, at least once a week. When combining the procedure with other weight loss therapies, the desired effect is achieved in a shorter period of time.
