Conclusion:
The total mineralization of mineral water from borehole No.Сз-3 Yagoda, Muglizh municipality, Stara Zagora region is 563 mg/l. It is characterized as low mineralized, hyperthermal, hydrocarbonate-sulphate sodium, fluoride and silicate water, without sanitary-chemical and microbiological signs of contamination. The contents of the examined micro-components are within the limits of the norms for mineral waters. The water has a stable physico-chemical composition and properties and complies with the requirements of Regulation No 14 on spa resources, spa areas and resorts (State Gazette No 79 of 1987, as amended by No 70 of 2004).
В. Properties
The therapeutic and prophylactic properties of the water are determined by its low mineralisation and the presence of bicarbonate, sodium, sulphate and fluoride ions and metasilicic acid in the colloidal state. Drinking this type of water has an effect mainly on the gastrointestinal tract, the biliary-liver system and the renal-excretory system. The water reduces the hyperacidity of gastric juice, increases its secretion, stimulates pancreatic secretion and stimulates the kinetics of the bile ducts. Low mineralization potentiates diuresis. Fluoride ions potentiate dentogenesis..
When used for drinking balneotherapy and balneoprophylaxis (after appropriate tempering to 35-37°C) has a beneficial effect in the following diseases: gastrointestinal (chronic gastritis, gastroduodenitis, ulcer disease, enterocolitis, etc.). ); biliary and hepatic (gallstone disease, chronic cholecystitis, cholangitis, cholangiohepatitis, chronic hepatitis, biliary dyskinesia, etc.); hepatic and biliary diseases (cholelithiasis, chronic cholecystitis, cholangitis, cholangiohepatitis, chronic hepatitis, chronic biliary dyskinesias, etc.). ); renal-urological (chronic pyelonephritis, chronic cystitis, nephrolithiasis, urolithiasis, post-lithotripsy condition, etc.); chronic pancreatitis; metabolic (gout, obesity, diabetes mellitus); caries prevention, etc.
It is recommended that drinking balneotherapy be carried out with courses no longer than 15 days, 250-300 ml before meals.
The use of mineral water for drinking balneotherapy and balneoprophylaxis is by doctor’s appointment, in compliance with strictly defined methodologies and dosages (quantity of drinking water, temperature and method of intake, duration of the therapeutic and prophylactic course).
When using external balneotherapy and balneoprophylaxis (after appropriate tempering to 33-35°C)
The use of mineral water for external balneotherapy and balneoprophylaxis is by doctor’s appointment, in compliance with strictly defined methodologies and dosage (amount of water taken, temperature and method of intake, duration of the therapeutic and prophylactic course).
Contraindications for external balneotherapy: specific diseases; infectious diseases; diseases in active stage and decompensated function of organ systems; oncological diseases; chronic ischemic heart disease with rhythm disorders; epilepsy.
